I’ve been somewhat involved with the music industry in some form for quite sometime. Nothing huge, but i love the production and recording aspect of the business. Working with producers and songwriters just seems like a natural thing, so when I was asked to create this logo, I jumped at the opportunity. This is a small studio in CT, they based the name on the old method of recording music, but didn’t want the logo to be that literal. Although I opted initially not to create anything as literal as the name, we felt it necessary to add the vinyl record for easier recognition and it makes a good icon otherwise.
